About Sacred Space Inc

Our Vision

As partners and participants in the world, we believe we're together to contribute to the enrichment of the spaces around us, all of which we consider to be sacred:

  • To physical spaces by creating and incorporating art and beauty that enriches the souls of users.
  • To psychological spaces by practicing and promoting respectful, considerate, honest and nonviolent communication.
  • To spiritual spaces by practicing, supporting and encouraging lives of passion, conscious understanding and greatest potential.

Our choice is to work with organizations and individuals who are dedicated to health, healing and stewardship of egalitarian relationships with one another, the earth, our culture, and our world.

  • Recognized Facilitator of the Georgia Network for Nonviolent Communication,
  • Certified CNVC Trainer,
  • MFA (Art) University of Georgia,
  • BS (Bus Ed) University of Florida

Skills derived during earlier life while focused on raising two boys, teaching high school, college and private school, community outreach, and business consulting are now blending to enrich my specialization on relationship enhancement — personal and professional. Having both witnessed and experienced the transformation that can occur through intentional focus on all needs being valued and heard, I am committed to facilitating this possibility wherever possible.

I also love introducing organizations to the meeting and decision-making ease, dynamic effectiveness, and sustainable conflict management made possible by utilizing the Consent Circle, Nonviolent CommunicationSM, and Restorative Circle models.

I have a deep passion for facilitating connections - in personal relationships, families, working organizations, neighborhoods and cities. For over 50 years, as an architect, urban planner, and community-involved citizen, I have been privileged to work in collaborative relationships with people of all ages from diverse backgrounds.

Nonviolent Communication, Sociocracy and Appreciative Inquiry have enhanced my understanding of the inter-related consciousness that is necessary to attain and sustain harmonious, trusting human connection. I am committed to and excited about sharing my learning in order to live in a more peaceful and sustainable world.
